[Videos] Mi 4i Unboxing and Sunlight Display

Had a chance to head down to Xiaomi Singapore office for a visit yesterday. And we managed to unbox a Mi 4i, which will be launched next Tuesday, 12 May, Noon. The set comes with the standard items, without earphones, as usual.

In this video, the set is a HK Mi 4i white 16GB set. And it comes with the UK adaptor right in the box, instead of the usual China two-pin adaptor. I hope that the Singapore set comes with the UK adaptor right in the package, this way, we can cut down on the number of boxes to one box, instead of a separate UK adaptor.

I have to admit, I have not look through the keynotes for Mi 4i, where Hugo presented this in India. :P But Louis, the product manager of Xiaomi Singapore told me that Mi 4i comes with Sunlight Display that is something new for all Xiaomi phones. I was WOW-ed by the function, even though it was not tested under strong sunlight, but it was still amazing to see it with my own eyes.

I video-ed down the process, we tested using Xiaomi's USB LED Light, acting as the "sunlight" source for this video.

I'm still in my WOW mood whenever I watch this video. *haha* It is amazing how technology advance and it is definitely a plus point for people who are frequently outdoors doing activities or work (like most sales and marketing personnel).

Another note is that Mi 4i is even lighter than Redmi 2 which is considered one of the lightest phone that Xiaomi has ever released in Singapore. Light-weight, great battery life, great visual settings, all for the price of $279 without contract. *WOW* 12 May please come quickly ~~~

The bird and I

I was, and am not, a bird lover. Even though I envy the fact that they have the freedom to fly as high as they can, I am still not a bird lover. And that turned into bird phobia in 2013. I remembered clearly that horrible afternoon outside Starbucks at Wheelock Place.

Okaii, maybe I was stupid too, after mugging for exams, my brains probably didn't think so much. I ordered a tea and a slice of cheesecake, not realizing a bunch of birds were eyeing on me. I wanted to find a quiet place to sit down and start mugging one of my modules and most of the time, Starbucks are filled with people and that was the same situation then. They only left those tall round tables that you can barely place a book and your tea on the same table while trying to write on your blank papers. So i opted to sit outside, as they had plenty of tables and some people were outside too, but in groups. Little did I know those evil birds already planned on mugging me! :(  The moment i placed my tea and cake outside, the whole bunch flew over. I moved my cake away immediately but alas, the birds were smarter, they worked in groups. I only managed to pull my tea away but not my books and cake. They started attacking the cake and walking on top of my books! :( The minute I walked closer to them, they will stop eating and stared at me with their evil eyes, daring me to go closer to them. They knew I was alone, had too many things to carry, there was no way I could save my cake.

Everyone else was staring, even those people who were busy with their own stuffs inside, stopped and stared. No one had a solution to chasing the birds away, until one of the Starbucks staff came out and shoo away the birds. Thankfully, I was saved, but rather shocked and scared at how the vicious the birds were. The staff was nice enough to change a cake for me, and I moved into the air-con area, surrendering my fate to a tiny tall table to study. I was grateful to the staff but died a little inside, and developed bird phobia. :(

To date, whenever I see birds flying closer, I tend to shun my way, just in case they start attacking me. However, I had to endure another bird vs me situation today. The bird flew into the kitchen while I was alone at home. I have closed the windows to the space that it shouldn't be able to fly in but somehow, the damn bird managed to squeeze in. It's not a small bird, but its a blackbird with yellow beak. I have no idea which species it is, but it is relatively common in Singapore. And they crowd around the area I'm staying a lot! They probably breed one corner around here that I remembered a friend told me that they had to engage eagles to chase all these birds away.

Anyways, back to the birds vs me situation. Being me, I panicked and close the kitchen door, in my mind thinking, before it starts to fly to the living room and shit around. Called up D and asked for help, he told me to open the kitchen door and the front door to let it out. But there was no way could I face the bird myself. So I was thinking, should I let it out from the front door? For I am also worried that it may stop in front of my shrimp tank and start attacking those poor shrimps. While I was pondering and checking on the bird, I realized it was trying to get out, but it couldn't squeeze through the opening that it came in before, it started to panic and called for his friend. His friend was trying to open the window, so that the bird could fly out. The bird kept looking outside the window, trying to figure out how to get out, looking for solutions through the toilet and in the kitchen.

It dawned to me, that is the situation we may face in life. We can see the wonderful world outside the window, but we do not know how to get out to the wonderful world. We are trapped, yet we can see the tiny opening to the outside world. How do we get ourselves out from that situation. I have no answer to that yet, but the bird got me into thinking. So I decided to pluck up the courage, geared myself up, switch off every available light near the shrimps, opened the front door, and opened the kitchen door.

There was no sign of the bird, even in the toilet, what was left from the bird was its' shit. *cursed* So it managed to get out from the way it got in. After numerous attempts to get out from various ways. I am thinking right now, if it is a sign for me.

The start of budgeting

I have to admit, I am not someone who will do budgeting to keep track of where my money goes or end up to most of the time. Budgeting only happens when I'm overseas. Since ATM or using credit cards isn't a feasible option overseas, budgeting is a must for me. I still remembered my Japan Winter 2008 Trip, I was named the Budget Queen coz I basically budgeted everything. But I'm good with short term budgeting but never for long. I still remembered how I used to have a budget book recording my debit and credit daily. But that didnt last for more than 3 months. *sweats * So my resolution for 2015 is to really make a note to record down my budget.

Or rather, our budget, since D and I got married, expenses increased since we don't have meals with our parents most of the time. And cooking takes up time, being lazy bum after work and housework, I don't have the energy to cook. Plus the amount spent to cook for two isn't cheap either. *opps* So we end up having outside food most of the days.

In order to know where most of our money go to, we decided to get a budget book where we can record down daily. The budget book is from Kikki K, I just love their stuffs. Too pretty to resist.  I have to admit, it is not easy at the start, especially D doesn't remember most of the price. (So typical of him) But recently it is easier when I force him to tell me right after he pay so I can record down. This budget book is with me nearly everyday when I head out.

Why not an app, you might ask. Wells, my phone is on MIUI developer ROM, where chances are apps can be deleted due to their coding. And the last update just deleted a few apps of mine *cries* And simply, D doesn't likes to use those apps. Asking him to use instagram to upload a few photos is a hassle for him. *hahah* Having a budget book is a good way to look through and make some notes at the side bar each week.

Hopefully this is will go a long way and help us save up even more. Plans to save up for our trip this year. ^_^

Nanoblock addiction

Ever since my friend, Angel, got me my first nanoblock set, I've been a little addicted to this hobby. A little too addicted I would say. My last purchase cost me $170 *sweats* but it is all about the joy of fixing them together and displaying on my desk.
My very first set of Nanoblocks
It was lovely to fix up my first set as it was kinda cute to have something small for desk decoration.
Cute isn't it????
But as time went by, friend asked if I wanna get Rilakkumas' nanoblock, the burning urge to get them and build them for desk decoration grew stronger. So I got two more Rilakkumas and the addiction to build went up.

This one took longer to fix as this Rilakkuma lies down and it was harder for me to imagine how it would looked like even though I followed the instructions.

This is easier but i think the blocks wasn't well fixed. Had some issues with the head though.

The heads were interesting to build, so when Kino was having a 20% discount for all members, I went on a nanoblock shopping spree. Within that one spree @ Kino, I ended up $200 poorer.
Pikachu from the Pokemon Series
Nearly purchase the whole series, but what stopped me was my pocket. Even though it was worth the purchase.
Another series of the Rilakkuma
I wanted to get all three from this series, but D said too many for the house currently. And he said since I've already gotten the brown rilakkuma and the pink one, why am I getting another two more in the different design? T_T He just don't understand the addiction.
Torre pendente di Pisa
This is one of the famous sight seeing places that I've purchase, the small one of coz. It was different from fixing a character as this has more repetition than a character. So I had some fun shots with my completed nanoblock with Xiaomi's France Mi Bunny.
Interrupting a Date
"I wanna enter... *rawrs*"
Time to head back to fixing up nanoblocks. More coming soon maybe? ^_^

Xiaomi's official launch model : Redmi

Since on XiaomiSG Facebook has already posted photos on their delivery since Saturday that they are sending out the orders, I was already waiting on my seat for my order to arrive. :D

Was happy to receive a call from my dad while I was at work that my Redmi has arrived today around 5 plus. *hoots* But sadly I wasn't the first 100 to order the phone so I didn't get the thank you card with Li Bin and Hugo Barra's autograph :( And I didn't get the accessories, boo, might get in the Mi3 order (if I ever order though)

After I got home, I decided to do a Shokotan favourite pose. Bite the new toy box. hahahaa.
*Bites Redmi Box*
I think I look like a idiot here. Pardon for the Redmi plastic piece still on the phone for I don't have a screen protector yet. I shall get it soon, like real soon. :p
The contents in the box.
The mico-sim adaptor is kept in a SIM CASE CARD. Hootss!
Basically the REDMI isn't exactly red in colour, but rather its back colour is in dark grey. So it should be known as GreyMi haha. (:
Redmi in box.

And here is the comparison of the size of Redmi with S3 in the middle and iPhone 4.

Can see that Redmi is the biggest but not as fat as S3, some what reminds me of iPhone 5 style haha.
After using for a while, the phone doesn't lag and it is at the normal level that you don't have to worry of your phone hang on you yet. But how long can it last, I have not tried it yet. Perhaps I will soon to test out how long can it last. And the interface is similar to iOS, but I like that I can customise the themes.

And here's the SD card slot and the dual SIM. I love ♥ the dual SIM function, coz I have a spare data SIM from Singtel but I don't have a iPad to use it. And now it comes in handy for me to use it with my prepaid card. *double win!*

And it shows the status of your SIM card when you insert both SIMs together.
Top left hand corner, the status of the SIMs
So now what you see in the picture are the status of two SIM cards. One is a data SIM number, the other is a 2G SIM number. I've tried to whatsapp using the data card and receive calls on the 2G SIM number. It works perfectly and you can check the status of your SIM card.

Just because Xiaomi designed a SG theme, I've decided to download it and applied it. Love it TTM!!! I like how the MBS picture moves on the lock screen haha, okaii I sound like a total idiot. :x
Lockscreen

Home screen ~~~ Merlion♥

Okaii, further review of the phone will be up soon with a video of it. Meantime just enjoy the photos ;) If you are really tempted to get, on the 27th Feb, Xiaomi Online will be releasing the second batch @ 12pm. For those who are going to the IT fair on that day, you can drop by Singtel side and check out the phone too! And Starhub is also releasing the phone on that same day. Rejoice fans! However, I am not sure about the accessories for Redmi. No news from the telcos if they are selling the accessories.

But the walk-in service center @ The Central will be not be selling the accessories for now. So the only way to get is through online orders or get someone to buy directly from China :p.

Brunch @ THE ROTISSERIE

After a long week at work, I always look forward to my weekends. (: And last Sunday I had brunch with ALP and Raina at The Rotisserie, located at The Rochester Mall. This is my second visit to this lovely cafe. The last time I actually came here to study for my exams and it wasn't that crowded as last Sunday. Food here is nice, so ALP and I decided we should try out other stuffs on their menu. :D The best part of this cafe is their breakfast menu runs till 5pm ^_^.

I shall not post a too visible photo of them.
Quarter Roasted Chicken with two sides
ALP have been dying to try their roast quarter size chicken since the last time we came here for brunch. And looking at the portion, it is even bigger than half chicken at Nandos! (Wells, I had nandos the day before :p) And its done so properly that portion this size isn't so hard to finish after all! ALP finished it all. *claps*
There's never a proper time for beer
In my theory, there's nothing call a proper time for beer. Any time is a good time! So we saw these two interesting named beer and we got it. I got Pure Blonde and it's a light beer, which is good for a brunch :D I never got any bad feedback about James Boag's Premium Lager from ALP and Raina, so I believe its light and good beer for brunch.

It was packed that day, so we had to wait a little while more for our brunch to be out from the kitchen and mine came last T_T.
Raina's brunch: Rosti with Smoked Salmon
For Raina, she felt that the Rosti was a little tasteless for her. Reason was she didn't have the rosti with the smoked salmon =_='''. The rosti itself wasn't too fantastic, but the smoked salmon has enough flavour to balance whole combination. Warning for people who likes to save the best food for the last: Don't order this. *haha* But seriously, this whole combination is just nice. :D

Mine: Eggs Benedict
This is so far the best eggs benedict I ever had. The eggs are just nicely cooked that the egg yolk is in half liquid state. The onsen egg state ! :D And the muffin  (muffin?) is just toasted crispy that it makes the whole combination too delicious to even describe with words. And this was their last set for the day, and now I really know why. *haha*

We sat around after brunch and chat. Time really flies fast when you are enjoying yourself and Raina had to attend her church service. Still I felt something was amiss from this whole wonderful afternoon.

Red Velvet cake!
Yes, a dessert to end off the lovely afternoon. ALP and I shared their red velvet cake and being someone who doesn't really like sweet dessert, red velvet cake may not be the best choice. Most red velvet cakes I've ate are too sweet for me, however, red velvet at The Rotisserie proves to be one of its kind. It is not too sweet yet the taste is rich, with a cup of warm tea, this whole afternoon was complete.

Here's my LOTD for that day:

Last day of 2013

Today marks the last day of this busy fruitful year that I had. Its been a challenging year with lots of changes, ups and downs and also meeting great people. Not only great people but also meeting the love of my life. (:

Looking back, it might been a long and weary year, but I've learnt a lot and appreciate a lot. It may not be the best year that I've gone through in my life, but its definitely a memorable one. One thing that should be marked in the list is the revival of my blog. Due to work and school previously, I couldn't keep this blog going. But now that I've changed my job, and nearly finishing my studies, I've finally decide to keep this going. Hopefully *fingers crossed*

The other best thing that happened this year is definitely I've found THE partner. (: The one who is able to tolerate my bad temper, who treats me like a kid and loves me all his heart. Thank you dear ♥.

Besides these, I've learnt to take big steps in my life, making decisions that I think is good for me. *yay!* I've grown up, and proud to say that ^_^v

Next year will be another big milestone in my life with lots of important and good things happening. And I'm so happy that I will be traveling with my parents for a trip. THIS is my first time to travel with them for a trip, not a day trip *woos* Am so looking forward.

Resolutions? I don't think I will have a list, but just 3 points that I will think about it. Something that I can achieve and accomplish in 2014. (: I think I've done my best for my 2013 resolutions and I believe I can achieve again in 2014.

Happy New Year (EVE) ^_^

Museum Trip

I wake up every morning these days feeling sleepy... Since its like a race to complete assignments and understanding what I am writing... *slap in the face* While trying to keep my face pimples free, which I failed miserably, I've managed to squeeze some time for the Night Museum. Went on the last day, but seriously, it was too crowded. But my main objective was to visit the Vodka exhibition @ the National Museum d(=^・ω・^=)b.

But we headed to the Singapore Art Museum first and caught a few nice art works, pictures taken using my Samsun S3. Sorry if the quality didn't turned out well.
I thought it is normal, but he used the same idea and applied with interesting caption.
I will remember to break glass when I have good ideas ヘ(゚∀゚*)ノ
The best caption out of the three ♪♪(o*゜∇゜)o~♪♪
These were the art work of young Singaporean Artist, but I forgot to note down his name. silly me.
I like the simplicity of this
This is the same artist as the first picture, hello stranger, by Dawn Ng. *yep!* I've notice this one, coz she had Miffy?? I think, part of her photography works in that room. hahaha.

Before I headed back, I had to Q for the Vodka exhibition and snap away all different kinds of Vodka, even though I don't really fancy it.
Say Hi to minis and big Vodka ~~~
Not gonna upload everything here, but will be up @ my google+ for those who wanna view the beautiful designs for Vodka.

I shall spam some nice food photos in my next post ~~~<3 a="" by="" href="http://jellytelly.blogspot.sg/p/sale-post.html" nbsp="" stop="" target="_blank">One Stop Station

Musical: The Phantom Of the Opera

Poster from Europeanseason
Went for the Musical last weekend..... My Second Musical for the year, can't afford more than that. I have missed out Adam's Family, kinda regret but oh wells.... At least I'm not missing the Musical for the year.
Our tickets.... Even though is Cat A.
Even though we were sat at Category A, I felt we were considered far. Further than where I sat for Jersey Boys and Wicked. ☹ It was bf's first musical and for the moment I thought he was going to fall asleep. *hahaha* But amazingly he was wide awake throughout the whole musical. *claps claps* Even though it was the Matinee slot, most probably was the understudy, but it was a great performance. Especially the guy who acted as the Phantom XD. Sadly I won't know, didn't get the programme booklet this time around, S$25. The rest are all piling up at home, hence the skip for this copy. Oh wells, hope I won't regret my decision. *ahaha*

But there was one slightest problem for the performance. The sound system wasn't at its best performance, from where I was seated, kinda of a pity though. Since its a Musical-Opera mix, they should have done the sound system better. There were times I couldn't quite catch what they were singing. ☹☹☹

Overall a good musical to catch. ☆☆

Hope that in the future, musicals can be more enjoyable with better sound system.

Updates Updates Updates.

I ain't have the habit to update but I will try my best.... maybe. Travelled twice this time. Holiday and work (kinda). Not many pics from travel, too lazy to lug my camera this time around, but my aim is to be less lazy and start taking some nice photos soon.

Went to the Singapore National Museum to pass time since I was around the area. Went to visit the Princely Treasure exhibition. I must say the art works are really exquisite, different style and theme from the different period of time. The usual me, in act, was to take a photo of every single piece of art work that's displayed in the exhibition. XD

Shall post some of the art works that I personally like.
Didn't took this art piece well, but this is a really big art work. Interestingly, this is a painting of a lady who ran out of a ball after hearing a sad news, and her sister is consoling her.
A exquisite art piece, from the Renaissance or Baroque period.
A fusion of culture in art.
A very interesting oil painting.
Many photos didn't turn out well, mainly coz of the position of each painting.... -_''' obviously some are too big or too tall for me to take a nice photo. *giving self excuses*

Life has been boring recently. Apart from me trying to complete my studies and trying to sell stuffs on Toys Cards And Everything Else, nothing much happened...... Maybe not quite..... Not quite yet.....

How time flies

How time flies, my last post was more than a year ago. I think work plus study is really hard to maintain a proper post update. Probably no one reads here anymore since I rarely read anyone else blogs. Opps. Serve me right totally. hahaha.

I think past one year, dating from my last post till now has been a roller coast with lots of ups and downs. Lots of things happened, people changed, I changed, things changed. But are we really happy with the changes or are we just adapting to it? Accepting the change in fate? I don't really know. But all I know is, it time to move on, step out of comfort zone and move on with life.

Life is never a rainbow, but I am glad this is how I control my life, though filled with mistakes but nevertheless fun is the key. Went to Japan last Dec for 2 weeks and boy, that was really the highlight of my life last year. FREAKING 2 WEEKS!!! hahaha. In a apartment instead of a hotel. HOOTS!

I shall update with photos soon. But I think its more like sightseeing rather than lots of play and hoots stuffs.

Oh ya, caught Star Trek: Into Darkness yesterday.
Hoootsss.....
Okaii, decided that I can't wait for its official date, hence, went to watch. love it. but somehow I dunno, probably the story was kinda lacking more plot than I thought it had. But nevertheless Benedict Cumberbatch is hoots. handsome as ever. *___* Chris Pine sexy is ever. hahahaa.

Tata for now.

its already MAY?!!!

Time really flies very fast and its May right now... that means my exams are in less than 2 weeks' time. holy crap. *pulls face* Been spending too much time shopping and playing.... I think I've spent way over limit for myself. *sigh* that means I can't spend anymore in May *cries* .... I shouldn't too, since exams are around the corner... oh wells.... I've spent on bomb this time round.....online shopping got the whole lot of my wallet... and one of the things I fell in ♥♥♥ is the clutch from e affair... hootssss $18 for it and its really a bargain for the quality and the looks of it.
Isn't this lovely? Its just the right size for me! (;
And of coz theres a whole lot more of stuffs.... including b.liv's off with those heads. One of the best product ever, after I had tried the sample, I've been wanting to get my hands on it. After using for nearly 1 month, I've seen a gradual improve on my black and white head on my nose... total awesomeness. Will spam lots of photos the next time... *finger crossed*

Besides catching the musical of the year, Wicked, twice, I went to watch Voyage De La Vie at the RWS with S too. The show was considered short, only 1hr 15 mins. I was expecting more. S watched it last year and said that they didn't actually showed the whole show exactly like last year. And the lead has changed..... hmmm.... I think I still like Wicked more... It was really a blast in every scene. :D
Our tickets... and we really had the middle super front seats
No April has passed without an nice high tea.... :) Had Vintage High Tea @ Barracks... It was a lovely place to enjoy the afternoon and the food was simply yummy. Yummy food comes with gossip time. hahaha. :p
This was my first place of serving hoho. simply yummy.
Using mac with no photoshop installed is like a flower without a vase holding on it.... gosh... I need to get one soon.. *pulls face* And hopefully May is another month fill with lots of excitement apart from exams... I just handed up 2 assignments.... phew hate video submission. the worse of all assignments ever!!! *grrr* oh wells, can't wait to go KL for AFA 2012!!!! anyone going too??? (: Hope it'll be fun with photo taking and drooling at Kamen Rider figurines... I wonder if I can get my hands on Anak's figurine... it'll be the best ever in my collection... hahaha can't wait .. even though its just going KL, its better than not going anyway :D

IT Fair

Headed down to the IT fair on Saturday. Weekend, yes that was really crowded, but not as bad as I thought it would have been like the past years. Had an aim in mind, to purchase a printer for my dad and my own mac book. Not like the past years, where I will walk aimlessly in the fair, hoping to get something outta there. Nope, this year, there's an aim.  So went there early with bf to have a quick lunch and headed up to the fair. They sure have more promoters at each booth than the number of customers. Its like walking down a lane filled with people welcoming you. hahaha....

Took a long time to decide which printer to buy, after all, its always the ink price that makes a difference. We ended up getting Epson cheap printer, $88. Quite worth and the Black ink usual price is about $11. Good for normal personal use when we don't print that much.

Went to epic center to check out the mac, and yes, they did have sale too. (: Lots of people Q-ing up to buy and the atm machines had long Q of people wanting to withdraw cash. pewhhhh chaos. Vin wanted the same mac as me, so ended up purchasing two macro 13" 2.8hz and free upgrade to 8gb ram. Ran into card problems, so we settled the whole payment like 1 hour later. I never felt so embarrassed before* >_

my new mac with simpsons playing ignore my reflection. :p
I think with 2 new lappy, dad's gonna scream at the electricity bills.... opppsssss..... Oh wells.
I am super interested in The Avengers movie that will only be out in May. arggggghhhhh. why did they even show the trailer during the John Cater movie. I didn't even think of it until my lecturer went asking, "anyone have seen The Avengers trailer?" I was the only one, damn, it was marketing module, so its like related. And now, on apple website, they have ad for the iTunes movie trailer app. http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/marvel/avengers/. I'm so dl-ing it right now....

Not much of a marvel fan, but I do like x-men and spiderman. I think that's enough to cover? hahaha. Plus its like, they do show their movies on tv, like Ironman. :p And I did catch Captain America, X-men First Class last year in the cinema. Its a awesome combi in the movie. Gosh and we have to wait for like another 2 months?! Faster release!!! I can only watch it after my papers. *cries* and and until now I've yet  to watch Ghost Rider 2. damn!

Random side note: Anyone going for the Cleo's Za Workshop and the Majolica workshop?? (:

John Carter

Hunky John Carter
Hadn't been posting since the last time I did for AFA 2011. *snores* I went as a cosplayer for EOY 2011 though, but no post about it. I felt that was  not a very good event and I didn't cosplayed well. I never cosplayed well anyways. :p But I aim to cos better the next time hopefully *finger crossed*

Anyways, thanks to Nuffnang, I got to watch John Carter in 3D last Monday, gala premier @ the Cathay Cineplax. I am no fan of 3D after my first time with Avatar, with the experience of wanting to puke in the movies. Transformers in 3D was no better either, hence John Carter marked my third chance in a 3D movie.  The movie started a little confusing but once the Ned came into the story, reading from John's diary, uh-huh that's where the fun begins. Not very dizzyly filmed and I like how the characters are portrait, especially the Tunks. I wonder how did the script writer come up with all the weird terms. The costumes are weird, doesn't seems too old or modern but enhanced the actors and actress figures. *hoots hoots*

It's interesting to see how John Carter ended up in Mars and trying to save the planet from the evils. Teleportation is a wonderful thing and how humans want to have that means of transport in our life to travel beyond the planet, into the galaxy. Those who loves science fic stories, go watch. (: There's the sexy princess and hunky John Carter.

Tomorrow marks the start of the 2012 first IT fair..... damn, I really wanna go tomorrow but work eats up time. Hope can get good deals on Saturday without getting squashed into puds. Anyone getting any worth IT  gadgets at the IT fair??? I'm thinking to get a Macbook to replace my 3/4 year old Dell laptop, its still running on Vista, which I pretty much dislike for the fact I only have 1 gb ram to support the OS and 99GB to install and store whatever files I have. Which I end up having 2 1TB HDD. *bleh*! Is Macbook good and reliable? Easy to use? If not, I'll stick back to windows and up them to windows 8 once its released.

Talking about windows 8, beta version are out, maybe I can source for windows 8 for my Nokia 710. :D Nice phone to use, easy to use but starhub connection really gets on my nerves 3/4 of the day. Zzzzz wifi is like way reliable than their network seriously. Enough crap, time to get back to work.

AFA 2011

My Anicon pass
Okaii, I'm still not used to the new blogger style. *erlack* anyways yes, I think I shall post about AFA 2011 first instead, when I look through the photos I have for my melbourne trip argh, I give up. There's way too many photos to choose from to be posted up. I camwhore a lot too hahaha. :P anyways lets move on to AFA 2011.

I missed out last year due to a wedding I have to attend, yes, both days. So this year, its not to be missed since Ian decided that he wants to go for I ♥ anisong, since we decided to purchase the VIP pass for the second day. The performers for that day was Sea☆A, Ichirou Mizuki, LiSa and FLOW♥.
Ian's Yellow, Mine's Pink
We get to choose our own landyard and I think Ian got another, that's under LiSA merchandise. Meanwhile lets spam some photos here.
This is the wrist tag that needs to be wore all times.
For Festival and Stage access. :D
My tix. yesh, $151 inclusive of Sistic charge.
I didn't go that early, went in the afternoon, hence I missed out Danny Choo's stage presentation, but I've got photos of him. :D hehehe Coz Ian went in to listen to him talking. *blahblah*
Yes, taken by Ian. hahaha I think that's the figurine only? Looks weird.
And oh, they did provide free lightsticks and had extra to go around during the concert. I choosen pink. :D or was it red? Ian brought yellow and green as extra to play around with during the concert.
Ta-da! free light stick. Think it did last for quite a long time. *stares at the bin*
Walked around and saw pretty nice figurines, and for me, its always about Kamen Rider. Lets do some photo spam on kamen riders.
Kamen Riders :D
Another set. Gosh I just love Ankh Full form. Just 6 of those chibi ones already cost $195.
Saw my friends on cosplay, shan't expose them just yet. :D But I shall expose those pretty cosplayers. and I spotted Kamen Riders hahaha just that didn't get the chance to snap a photo with them, but I did manage to get a photo with Power Ranger Red~~~~ GO GO ~~~
Hi Red Ranger :D
Lets have some love for teh One piece fans. :D
One Piece. hmmm pardon me, I'm not familiar with them.
The only ones are know are these two hahaha.
Here's the maid and the butler cafe. We did went in two years ago to see how was it, but this year, nah. The Q was pretty long and seriously, its pricey just to get in to check out the maids and the butlers. I skipped that coz I was pretty much not in the mood to Q too. *hahaha*
Spams of cosplayers photos. Need save up some space. :D If not its' gonna load pretty slowly.
Trololol :D so where's forever alone?
I wonder if its just for display or for sale?
I only know Joker and Chin-li here :X
Erm deathnote and? :D
And here comes the Anisong parttttt, ok so photos wasn't allowed, only when there's no artist, then only we can take photo. So ta-da the stage, boy I was so happy that I got the VIP seats tic instead of the standing. There was no way could I jump or wave happily if I wanted to at the standing area and you've gotta be early to get good place to stand, if not you'll be stuck all the way to the back. bugger.
Rock Your Soul

The concert was really awesome, apart from the first artist whom shall not be named. *rolf* Aniki was real good as usual even though there were technical fault. Seriously their sound system really sucks and there were a lot of hang hang on their mac com. hahahahahaha But still Aniki was really professional. :D Next up was LiSA and it was live music so bonus points to that. (: LiSA had a lot of fans and everyone was so high, but what I didn't really like was people moving infront, not staying at the seats. Com'on you bought your tix for your seat, you didn't buy early your own problem, why move infront and block other people. I was glad that all those people went off after LiSA's part *grumbles grumbles* Lisa is really cute and bouncy like rabbit. *bounce bounce*
LiSA T and Strap that Ian bought
Last up for the night was FLOW!!!! ♥♥ But they took more than half an hour to set up, well that's really professional, beats all the sound system that AFA has set up. HAHAHAHA! And FLOW was really awesome !!!! Everyone was jumping, following their beats and instructions. ♥_♥ who don't love them??? hahaahaha, again same situation appeared, fans moving forward blocking people's view. TSK! But I was glad to be at the VIP seats, once again, I must say. After the concert that ended around 11.45pm, was FLOW's autograph session *_* I've won their poster too, so waited and Ian managed to get a photo of them before he was stopped from taking photos. *gah* They are really friendly and nice even though they really looked very tired after the concert. *shake shake* Best thing happen ever this year. :D
Not very clear, but at least a glimpse is good isn't it?
This sums up this year's AFA 2011 for me. Am looking forward to the next one, hopefully, but heard its gonna be in Malaysia next year. bugger. :( Do help me click on my adddddds :D
