Nail Art: Hello Kitty Attempt

Had been recently obsessed with nail art since I've decided that I should start using up all my nail polish collection. hahaha .... It hadn't been all successful though.... It always end up with me being too lazy to draw and do something nice. Then it will be a full color nail.

Back track a little, I had bf to help me with my nails by sticking the fruit filmos for me when I was over at his place. And this is his masterpiece. Not bad for a beginner.

He felt that the arrangement was nice. 

But then again, I thought the placement could have been better. its seems too close to each other and the base color should have been other colors. *haha*

Yesterday I tried another Nail Art, and it got me messed up like almost 3 hours. Firstly, I wasn't patience enough to wait for it to dry. Secondly, my free art just sucks. hahaha. And here's the masterpiece.

The Hello Kitty just didn't look like one. Mum says Hello Kitty got whiskers?*face palm* 

I think I will work and try again with proper planning and I shall try doing the clouds pattern with blue polish... Red just doesn't do the pattern justice, or is it just me who doesn't do a justice to the nice simple pattern.

Never mind, I shall try again the next time, with my latest wish to get color, turquoise color. I'm still deciding should I get Essie's Turquoise & Caicos or Orly's Gumdrop. Initially was China Glaze's Turned up Turquoise but it seems that there's glitter contained. Personally I prefer matte nail polish, as it is easier to remove (:  I shall ponder till I decide the best colors to suit, or should I just get both Essie and Orly??? hahaha

Nail art

As you can see I'm obsessed with Nail Art recently.. And due to take, I can't stand going out nails naked. :P Blame it to the pedi I did 3 weeks ago... hehehe now I can't get enough of them. and practice do make things perfect. I think I can paint my nails faster and cleaner this time round? I don't know my guess only haha... recently bought Sally Hansen's Maximum Growth. So far, can see the nails grow slightly faster. but not very visible. :P Ok before that my nails last week....

Yes real short, but was neat enough for me hahaha both hands had the exact same pattern. as usual left hand has a cleaner and neater pattern drawn... pretty nude and almost blend into my skin color, the only down side was I wanted something that is not glitterish, this polish has glitter. :( Its Beaute de Kose's Radiant Pink with Fasio's Copper Gold for the design and Orly's Witches blue for the dot in the middle of the flower.

And here's today's design!! Pardon for the messiness. just finish doing them and took photo of it.

Right hand. tried out something new... mum said it was a little too complicated in the looks. and messy :( First attempt with crystals. and nail art pen from etude house.

Left hand looks neater and cleaner. as usual hahaha. Ok used Orly's Witches Blue then Etude House Nail Art Pen Pink for the pink dots and crystals. :) Clear base coat. Orly's Witches Blue is my favorite color so far... what's yours?? ;) and its going to October, which means Halloween!! I enjoyed my Halloween celebration last year... I don't think that's going to happen again this year though, but nevertheless it was fun to dress up for Halloween with those makeup and nails hahaha... maybe I should try that at home?? ;)

bb cream

hadn't been blogging for sometime.
too lazy i guess hehehe... and lots of activities around. ok i lied. more like I'm lazy and wanted to blog last saturday BUT i've spent my whole day at home sleeping away my time !!!! So sad, wanted to go out but in the end I just wasted my whole Saturday at home.

Ok been trying out some new BB cream apart from my usual Skin79 gold.... got a few samples off samplestore, so why not???

This was given by Joyce for me to try out. Both from Brtc. some brand which I've never heard before actually.... She said they do have it at Wastons hmmmm.... Me sua ku anyway hahaha.....Tried both and I prefer the Blemish Recover Balm over the Gold Caviar BB Cream one... Both have the lemon scent, both aren't oily, which is good for people like me who needs those to last throughout the whole day at work!!! But the white one gives me a better coverage and it really covers my flaws on the face. I guess it really all depends on your skin tone. But the downside for me is, I felt it was a little thick on the texture, leaving my hair a little *dunno how to describe*

Dr Jart+'s Silver Label BB Cream. I really like this one, just like the Brtc, this one gives me a good coverage, is not too thick and sets in the right color for my skin!!!

The BB cream on my hand with Flash on the top one and without flash on the second pic. It's not thick as seen and it's near to my skin color.... I actually ordered this :DD

CU's Whitening & Wrinkle Repair BB Cream. *ouch*! This is way too thick for me and made me look like some china doll!!!

With Flash on the first pic and without on the second pic. Compare it with Dr Jart+ Silver Label and you can actually see the difference in the thickness of the BB cream. super thick!! my face felt a little oily in the afternoon... :( I'll avoid this.... I don't wanna become China doll....

So far, I think Skin79 and Dr Jart+ BB cream are good.... Etude House BB Cream are normal, but they don't give good coverage as compare to the two products as mentioned.

Side note, my third attempt on nail art.

Got a few compliments for it hehehe. Just finished a new set on my fingers.... Will post them up later when I get all cleaned up!!! Any good nude polish to recommend??? I feel that my buys are either dark, milky or too bright sometimes for my mood... will need something nude.... without glitter though...
